Today was a great day for the hobby! Diane and I also checked out the Point Judith LB (near a VERY obvious geocache!). There's no info to contact the placer, so here's hoping s/he gets the word:
The top of the box split partly, and it was full of water. The ziplocks held well, though, and the stamp, ink and logbook are all well. We dried it out and replanted it upside-down, so any water will drain out the crack.

THANK YOU for letting me know about this. I am the maintainer of
this box, and when I checked it a month ago, this was NOT the
condition it was in. It will be fixed up within a few weeks.
On a secondary note - yes, I know that there is a geocache nearby,
but for the life of me, despite my best attempts, I can't find the
damn thing!
